Its affecting my forearm, hand, feet and legs. I have those red spots
with white peak or white thin skin on top for the past 2 months. It
suddenly appeared after I have work in insulation (putting insulation in
the ba*****t, i was wearing gloves..but don't think it related)
It itches, when I scratch to relief the itch, its gets redder, and
sometime peaks of blood appeared.

I have that on my legs in the past 5 yrs...but it's on my hands and feet
that is suddenly happen (in the past 2 months)
My family doctor is not sure what it is, he prescribe me some cream but
that didn't work.

Is anyone can advise me what it is, and what could be possible cure I
would appreciated.
I am a 45 yr. *** male. In good health in general.

Hi there. Honestly, it could be any number of things. I would suggest
seeing a dermatologist. They can biopsy one of the spots and get you a
diagnosis.

George,

I agree with Aria - go see a dermatologist to find out for sure what it
is, because it could be lots of different things. However, for what
its worth, it looks like my new patches of Psoriasis when it first
starts flaring up.

I really feel for you george. I went through several GP's before I could
even get one to refer me to a derm. Then I had to wait six months to get in
to see her. In all from the onset of symptoms until diagnosis was well over
a year. Tack on another 9 months of trying different treatments until we
found something that worked for me before I felt any relief.

OTC's I would recommend (please note this is not medical advice, i am not a
doctor):
For itch - benadryl, hydrocortisone, calamine lotion, or if you think it
may be a fungus try athlete's foot spray. as with any topical, always test
on a small area or single lesion before covering your whole body. you don't
want a reaction on top of already irritated skin.

Another thing that you might want to try - go to the tanning booths. Don't
go in expecting to bake yourself brown (or orange), but short sessions in
the booth several times a week may help. Tanning booths can help with
psoriasis, PLEVA, other pityriasis's, and dry chapped skin too. At least it
can in some people. Plus it isn't too expensive to try, even if it ended up
not working for your case.

Other than that, I don't know. Sorry I cannot be of more help. ~aria

Well, you sure give me something to look for. I like the suggestion of tanning.
I never went to tanning salon.
I am seeing another doctor this morning, hope he can recommend a dermatologist
earlier then 6 months or any medication ...effective one.

Since this is spring, i might attempt the tanning salon .... Are you suggestion
tanning for how many session? Do you have an ides how effective?...tanning that
is?

thanks again.
