Default rough finger tip problem

Cannot get finger-tip skin to smooth over in spite of numerous
lotions, overnight vaseline with cotton gloves, etc. Have continual
roughness on most finger-tips that catches on fabrics, etc. Not really
cracked, just rough and peeling in spots. Especially one finger seems
to be worse than others. Is this a dermatological medical symptom or
just overly dry skin? Any suggestions?

Try Bag Balm,

Found at local nursaries/farming stores, I believe it worked for me because
it contains lanolin and a mild antiseptic.. I suffered from excema for
years, this cleared up a condition that sounds similar, if not worse, to
what you are going through. Good luck.

i have this problem too, it seems to come back as the weather gets warmer.
i have tried different ointments, prescription and over the counter. None
really worked too well as the problem never goes away in a timely fasion.
