Flomax only marginally improved my flow after 8 weeks on it. Does
this mean it just doesn’t work for me or does it mean I have a certain
feature to bph (eg large median lobe)??
As usual after 10 minutes, I’ve still got questions, Uro gets up and

Any answer you get here is just a guess. Only your uro can answer and he’s
probably guessing too although he may have more information on which to base

I was told that Flomax can take up to six months to give it’s full effect.

Most of the studies I’ve seen (Flomax v. placebo) show about 75% of the
improvement in the first 4 weeks then gradually increasing to max
effectiveness in about 3 months. It’s doubtful he’ll see much too much more
improvement after 8 weeks. Here’s a link.
