Is there an update Jill?
Thinking of you.
Jill 2012-04-08 17:19:57
Co. I was going to try and call them last week, but my son is trying to
give his mom a stroke. The company that he works for, sent him out to
deliver a septic tank. The truck had no brakes. He found that out when
he went down a hill. They life flighted him to a hospital 45 miles away,
thinking he had enternal injuries. Thank God he is fine. And from the
looks of the truck, he’s lucky to be alive. It’s amazing how your life
problems are easy to forget, when someone you love is in trouble. Hugs
back to you J, Jill

Phew ! What a relief to hear your son’s okay.
Good thing the septic tank was empty eh?
Does this get him in trouble? Is he the one supposed to inspect the truck he
drives (or a company mechanic)?
Jill, you must be exceptionally strong and patient.
Calling thyroid cancer a “life problem”…well, it is, but geez, don’t you
feel some urgency to get that injection?
Hope you’ll be able to contact them this week, if for no other reason then
I’ll stop pinging (read “nag”) you 🙂

Yes a big relief. The tank empty, weighs over 3 tons. My son made the
tanks and it was not his job to deliver them. His boss told him the
brakes were a little bad, not that there wasn’t any. My husband and I
told him a week proir to this, Don’t drive that truck, because it’s
unsafe and would get someone hurt. Being 20 years old you feel
invinsible. Now he wished he would of listen. The good thing was, he got
a job offer with another company the day he got out of the hospital.
When one door shuts, another ones open.
J, I’m not that strong or patient. I’ve just learned not to fret
over things I have no control over. Sometimes I let things bother me,
than I remember things could be worse and to count my blessings. God
won’t give me more than I can handle. I still have bad moments and would
like to throw myself a pity party. I’ve had 9 years dealing with this,
and I learned they wont get in a hurry, no matter how much I would like
them too. I hope you never stop pinging me. I don’t see it as nagging
either my dear friend. Hugs, Jill

Hugs back at ya Jill,
I’ve been practising self-control here, but now that it’s Thursday, I’m “hot on your trail”.
Did you call them yet ?
Meantime, how’s the part time job going?
Also glad to hear that your son got another job. There’s a new “report” out
here in Canada about general life expectancy (men vs women) and I think that
goes for jobs too.

J, You are a well of information, how do you do it. And your memory is
excellent. I called the Doctors office Monday, they were supposed to
call me back the next day. I’m still waiting. I’ll try again tomarrow.
The new temp. job is going good. I will hate it when it ends. But
somethimg else will come along, no doubt. My son hasn’t started the new
job yet. Look like he needs a little P.T. to help the sore muscle and
knee pain. But at least he’s alive and doing pretty good. I believe your
so right about the life expectancy, going for jobs too!! ((( J)))

Thanks for the hugs, Jill (much appreciated).
I’m not spamming (honest) but I tried Trager massage (for quite a while) and
it’s the most wonderful thing for sore muscles and aches and pains. And so
relaxing. And of course, P.T. is helpful also, so hope your son feels better
Glad you’re enjoying the new temp job too.
Will watch for your update

J, Well I called the doctors office on Friday, and that evening the
Doctor called me back. He asked if I filled out the paper work, and my
response was “what paper work”. So I geuss I should be recieving it in
the mail. So much for communication. It’s almost funny. I know you
wern’t spamming, I think I could benifit from a few Trager massages
myself. Well maybe more than a few. Jill

oopsie ! Am I ever glad I nagged …whoops pinged you.
Just think, we could have been here for months, waiting and waiting and
wondering what became of the injection.
What do you mean you “guess” you should be receiving it in the mail?
Did he not say exactly how the paper would get into your hands?
Can you not arrange to pick it up (or have it faxed) to you?
Well, anyways, two days in the mail, so I’ll be bugging you again next Wed
Count on it, Jill !
