Default Identify cluster controller server name from cluster member

Hi,

From an asp.net page I would like to identify the server name of the cluster
controller so that a cluster member can remotely start/stop a windows service
running on the cluster controller. I tried using the accluster.webcluster
component however this component cannot instantiated on a cluster member. I
have also tried the appcenteradmlib.appcenterobj with no luck.

Any ideas ?

Default Identify cluster controller server name from cluster member

hi all

i finally found out how. The component appcenteradmlib.appcenterobj has a
method named value which takes a string to identify a property. By going
through the asp files in the Application center directory I found the
property identified by the string "Controller". This returns the name of the
cluster controller.

It is a pity there is no do***entation for the use of this component. It
would be nice to know all the properties of the component.
