Default BTHL7 Acknowledges messages without regarding Message Control ID

Hello,

I am testing the original mode acknowledgment mechanism and getting wrong
results from BTAHL7:
1)
If I respond to BT with an acknowledgment message, that refers a Message
Control ID (MSA-2) different from the one that was sent (MSH-10), BT
considers the message acknowledged and doesn’t resend it…

2)
I do the same test without responding with any acknowledgment at all, and BT
retries to send the message, showing that acknowledgment and resending
mechanisms are in action.

Shouldn’t there be a resend in the first case?
I am using a send receive MLLP port with solicit response enabled.

Thank you in advance for your answers on this.
Best Regards,

Nuno
