Default xml to string

Hi,

Is there a functoid available to convert the xml instance into the string?

Basically there is an xml do***ent comes in the biztalk server 2004, i would
like to submit it to the web service, the web method takes a string as the
parameter, the string needs to be the content of the xml instance. any idea?

Thanks,
Aor

Hello.

You could either pass the message out to a .net component that returns a
string (probably the easiest way).

Or, set the message to an Xml Do***ent inside the Orchestration and then do
an OutterXml on the variable.

Hope this helps.

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for the suggestions. I am trying your second idea. But how do I use
the OutterXml on the message? I dragged a Contruct Message shape in the
Orchestration, but biztalk expression editor doesn't seem to compile the
OutterXml on the message variable.

I appreciate you could provide more details.

I figured that out. Just need to declare the system.xml.xmldo***ent in the
orchestration view window, cast the message into the variable, then get it by
XmlDoc.OuterXml.

Thanks.
