Default Publish of Profiles Failed

I'm receiving a 401.1 error when trying to publish profiles in
Business Desk.

Here are the things I've tried:

1) Permissions have been checked

2) I have implemented the BizDesk fix found in SP2a known issues

3) Per KB 291008, used the following command (I'm not using a proxy):
proxycfg -d -p "<local>" "<servername>"

Here is the error found in the IIS Log:

Default Publish of Profiles Failed

Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.

These errors are difficult to troubleshoot via the newsgroup. If it is an
urgent issue, I would encourage you to open an incident. If it is for
learning or you can do other tasks while troubleshooting this issue then, I
would recommend you try:
- Q834162 You receive an error message when you refresh caches on Commerce
Server http://support.microsoft.com/?id=834162
- Q815700 How to Create Code for Profile Refresh in Visual C# .NET
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=815700
- Q331940 BUG: Commerce 2002 Business Desk Cannot Properly Handle 302
Redirects http://support.microsoft.com/?id=331940

You might have already review those kb articles. If you have then take a
Filemon and see if it is an ACLS issue or a profile trace to see how far
you get in the refresh.
