Explrorer windows open when logging in

Every time I login in I get like 20 explorer windows that open and a few
notepad windows openning . Any idea what can be causing this?

When you log off do you leave any of these windows open? If so, check
Explorer's Folder Options..View.."Restore previous folder windows at logon".
Make sure it is unchecked.
