windows me install question.

my sister is doing a new install of windows me. everything goes well untill
the final reboot. then the screen goes blank. (can not install the drivers.)

they have an ati rage 128 video card.

we can only go into safe mode to see anything.

does anyone know how to install he drivers.
in safe mode, we can not see the cd-rom.
