Error 303: Agent operation with server NO_PARAM failed.

I have also received error 303 on one of the servers. It happened that the
server could not start properly after the reboot, after agent installation.
I had to use LKGK to start the system.

I have uninstalled agent from the DPM console and retried again to install
it - no go.
I found that the agent is being installed, but for some reason it is being
uninstalled straight after installation. That's where error 303 occurred.

So, what I did is:

1) copied files from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Data Protection
Manager\2006\Agents\AC\1.0.2145.0 folder to the temporary folder on the
destination server.
2) run PSAC.msi and dpmac.exe manually - I could see both components are
installed in Add/Remove Programs now.
3) I have removed both DPM components using Add/Remove Programs
4) I went back to DPM Admin console to install agent remotely and this time
round, it went all fine.

Hi Arek,
Thanks for letting us know of the workaround that helped you fix this
problem.
Please can you open a bug with this info and the fact that had to boot the
file server in to LKGK state after agent install?
