- If you want to have several programs running just to check your E-
mail then it is cool. I have nothing to say about Mail Washer. I just
can't see any point in having a 3'rd part piece of software to do
that when I can use my web interfaced mail. As someone else in this
thread also said.

- Even if Adam was god I just can't see any point in throwing dirt in
Cecils face! I think A.K. is a selfish, arrogant bastard! And yes I
know he is one of the best Eudora users in the world. The problem
with A.K. is that he do not respect anybody who knows less that
himself. If he could just help people without always reminding them
they are morons also. I don't think A.K. is using much time in the
real world really. He wouldn't last for long anyways :-)

That's allright. I really didn't mean to be negative about
MailWasher. My point is, that we all have different needs, and are
all different. I have used many og Cecils filter tips, and just don't
think he deserve the mud from A.K.

I haven't really checked Cecils filters as I'm satisfied with what I
have. (That means that I am not sure I'll buy Eudora 6 if the spam
filtering is the major new feature).

We do indeed have all different needsd, and I've been remiss in not
further checking Verizon's server side filters. Their access to these
things has been less than stellar.

Adam (still, after many years) has a very thin skin, and is much too
easily offended, and has too little patience with people that he thinks
do not approach his intelligence level. OTOH, I see nothing wrong with
pointing out the wrong points in some poster's ramblings. But it should
not be abusive (hope I conform mostly with that).

That's true, I should use more server side filters. Since mailwasher and
spamnix work so nicely for me, I can only blame generalized laziness on my
part.

After such a wonderful monologue, what can I say?

Oh yes - one must assume that the server side filtering is 100%
infallible, correct? Otherwise, any mail that you *should* receive
may in fact be *filtered* away before you ever get a chance to see it.

Wait - maybe that is why people use client side filtering!!!

So, if something gets tagged mistakenly, I still have the option of
making sure that I can get the message.

Unless you run your own server, I am guessing that anything your Email
server deletes is pretty much gone, correct?
