Chell-specker not persistent.

That doesn't happen to me. (I run the spell-checker manually when I want
it, not in the background, which might make a difference.) If that's what
you're seeing, it sounds like a bug. The spell-checker shouldn't be
distinguishing between the parts of the message. Does the word get added
properly the second time you add it?
