Default eudora 5.2 window colors

This is for the Background but not the messages themselves.

My standard verbiage...

If you want a background for yourself when reading messages then:

Eudora.ini settings file
http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/ini.html

There's a new section named [Decorations] with two entries for
Eudora Pro 4.1+

BackgroundImage
Specifies an image to be displayed in the "workspace" area of the main
Eudora window (called "Application Background" in the Appearance tab of the
Control Panel->Display options). It needs to be specified as a full path
name. This setting requires QuickTime to be installed.

BackgroundColor
Specifies an RGB triple (in hexadecimal) for the color to use for the
"workspace" area of the main Eudora window. Can be used in conjunction with
the BackgroundImage entry for choosing a color better suited for the image
being dislpayed. Examples: white is "FFFFFF", black is "000000", and blue
is "0000FF". This setting does *not* require QuickTime to be installed.

Eudora also needs QuickTime in order to display embedded GIFs.
*****
I don't use this feature but it looks like it is for incoming messages
only.

[Decorations]
BackgroundColor=C0C0C0 <== Light Gray
-OR-
BackgroundColor=808080 <== Dark Gray
-OR-
BackgroundColor=000000 <== Black

If you want the messages themselves to flip colors, Eudora uses the
System Colors.

My Computer | Control Panel | Display | Appearance Tab |
Change
Item: Message Box with Font to White
Change
Item: Window with Color to Black

Then save this as Eudora Scheme. This will work in Eudora, but,
may make other applications or just plain other Windows look strange
and you wont be able to see text etc. etc.

Then change the scheme back when you are finished with Eudora.

Hey Daniel,

Thanks much for those suggestions. I will check them out and figure
out which one works the best.

Appreciate the help.
