My filters were OK, but they missed some things, like the annoying
Viagra ads. So I started using McAfee's SpamKiller. That works
pretty well, but now my Eudora 5.2.1 is filtering out things that I
don't want filtered out and things which were originally passed. I
tried to make a "white list" but Eudora ignores it. Any ideas?

I think it would be reasonable to believe that if your filters haven't
changed, this behaviour must be due to SpamKiller.

How did you implement it then?

In any case, you might want to take a look at [http://www.eudora.com/betas] and
see how well version 6's Junk feature works for you.

Thanks. I shut off McAfee and I'm trying Eudora 6. Funny, they have
a paid mode for a Beta. Bill Gates must own them now.

Yeah, I did a feedback report on that. I've been a paid Eudora user
since version 4 and felt it was terribly hard to evaluate the beta with
the ads in place. I would have upgraded when the product went final so,
under protest, I went ahead and upgraded.
