I have "put text attachments in body of meessage" unchecked.
When sent the txt msg appears to be an attachment.
When I receive a 'cc' the text is in the msg..
Is there a flag??
(Does 'TextAsDoc=1' hava a bearing on this?)

You can't see that when you send, but the result depends on your settings.

If it is a message you have sent yourself then something is wrong. If
it is a message sent by somebody else then it depends on the settings of the sender.

Yes, that is the setting in question. When the value is 1 then the text
attachment is NOT in the body of the message.

This setting applies only to sent messages, not to received ones.
