We are migrating from an NT4 domain (with Exchange 5..5) to a Windows 2003
domain (with Exchange 2003) and have a few questions. We are planning on
using ADMT to migrate al the users/groups etc and then using ADC to
synchronise the accounts. Although we will need to migrate all users/groups
in one go, we are planning on getting the users across in stages, i.e. they
will have an account in both domains but willcontinue to logon to the NT4
domain until we tell them to start using the new domain.

Q1) When migrating from NT4 to 2003 AD using ADMT, is it the ADC that
synchronises account changes, i.e. account lockouts, group changes between
the two?

Q2) Using the ADC - Data Collection, our log file has "Pass 2 of 4: Active
Directory Connector Object Replication Check 04/07/2005 09:20:20 Could not
find match to......." - is this saying that account does not exist in AD?
(we are currently in a test phase and do not have any accounts in Exchange
2003).

Q3) When migrating PCs to the new domain, how do we modify the user profile
MAPI (Exchange)
server name?

I believe the admt just takes a snapshot at the time you run it, so any
account changes made on nt4 domain won't replicate, i haven't use the adc for
this as this is used to replicate Exchange data. no idea about Q2, Q3 i ran a
test scenario and did not need to change the server in outlook it does it
automatically, this was in outlook 2000.

Thanks Maverick. Your answer to q1 was what I thought (having read around).
Hopefully somebody else can confirm our theory about q2.
