We have a nagging problem.

Background:
We initially had a site with SSL, but have since it. Because of the
nature of the application that runs on the site we have a redirection
page that checks wether the user is accessing the site from inside the
firewall or not. If the user is accessing the site from inside we
redirect to http://domain/home. If they are coming from the outside we
redirect to http://site.domain.com/home.

Problem:
Even though we have removed SSL from the site (the cert is still on the
site) a 403.4 error message will randomly appear. Refreshing the page
removes the error.

Any clues as to why this is happening?
