connected to internet but IE won't open
I wonder if this is contagious. Have you recently
installed new software? I gave my daughter a CD of
wmconnect.com to try and it corrupted the IE5.0 files
because they are having the same problem. I did find some
information under the help section to repair IE5.0 to fix
the fixie.inf file. Copy this file from you your other
computer. If you don't have this file I can send you a
copy by email. You will find this file in winexplorer
under programs then under internet explorer rename the
fixie file to fixie.old and put the copy in the IE folder.
Then try to repair IE5.0 There more information about
this under selfsupport as there could also be a registry
problem. Good luck... we are still trying to fix there
computers yes computers the CD mess up both their laptop
and desktop. What a fine mess this is!
