EI died in Win95,can I fix by dwnlng 6?

My EI 5 was destroyed by an improper shutdown. I don't
think EI 5 is available any more, will EI 6 work? Is there
a "trick" to installing it?....Thanks in advance for any
help.

There is no trick. IE6 will not install on Win95.
Try IE5.5 SP2
