Default help on this bug Please Beta 7 IE

Microsoft had me integrate sp2 into the XP install, so I could do a repair of
windows. Before I got this error Version Of XP pro on your PC is newer than
the Xp pro your using to repair windows cannot continue.

Anyway done the interagted mehtod. I had Beat 7 IE and Windows Live
installed on my PC.
After the update of windows, SP2 I rebooted. I open IE beta 7 & it gave me
this error: "The procedure entry point Internet get security Info URLW could
not be located in the dynamic link library wininet.dll"
Does it everytime all app's that use and need IE now sit then svchost.exe
blows my cpu to 100%.
IM, updates, anything that need IE will not work.

I've tried to reinstall IE 7 beta says I have to remove it first from
add/remove under XP software updates "beat 7 IE is not there nor anywhere in
add/remove. I cannot find any uninsatller for IE beta 7 anywhere. Tried IE 6
same crap!

I'm stuck like chuck. I've email support nothing, went to the beta people
set me Problem report:
I used it got all the info went to upload and it has to use IE to get
connected I get the error as above.
I hope I'm posting in the right place and someone can help!
asider2@msn.com
Thanks

Donna

You need to post this in"microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general", but
before you do I would read the posts there, as I think Pat has already
answered this one.
I quote:

If IE7 isn't found there, try the following, courtesy of MVP Sandi
Hardmeier:

Run the commandline

%windir%\$NtUninstallie7bet2p$\spuninst\spuninst.e xe

(replace %windir% with the path to your Windows folder, most often
c:\windows). Make sure view hidden folders is enabled via Control Panel,
Folder Options.

or

Go to the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

Right click on Internet Explorer > New String Value > Name that value
InstalledByUser (the value of the new String should be your User Account
name) > Uninstall IE7 via Add/Remove Programs.
