How to create a mirror website

Hi

I want to create a mirror for my website on a different network from the
current one, so that if one my server goes down for some reason, the traffic
keeps on getting served from another. If some one can tell me how to go about
this, it will be of great help. Can i configure DNS to point to two A records
for a domain to do this??
