I'm getting some weird installation aborting errors here

I have a local Network setup here for testing and I have made the Windows
2003 Standard Edition Server the PDC.
I then I run the Setup.exe for LC Server 2003
I go thru all of the setup options assign the new account a "Strong"
password and then it starts doing it's install. after a bit it pops up and
error that says"

Error 27690. Error '0x80070035' checking for registry
key for schema master
'my_domain_info' durning'
'UploadSchemaEx'


then I click OK and it rolls back the installation.
I could not find either of the error codes anywhere on the microsoft websites
