Default WM5 Error

A HTTPS or TCP connection could not be made. Please wait for your network
administrator to correct this problem, and try again later

This comming from a client on another child domain from the domain the home
server is on. Telnetting from that client to homeserver:5060 works. Also,
it only allows me to enter in the SIP URI for configuring that client. No
place to put username/password? In my domain where the home server is, wm5
works just fine!

Any idea's?

THanks

have you followed the required steps for single-forest/multiple
domain topologies in the deployment guide? The child domain
needs the appropriate rights to connect to LCS.

[...]

that just means that you can reach the server on port
5060 from that machine, but not that you've got the
required rights to sign-in to LCS.

I rather think that you have to run prep=domainadd. But
to be sure, tell us more about your environment.

- root domain + one child domain?
- where is LCS installed?
- where are the users located?
