Joris Kalz describes in his blog how to do this: http://blogs.msdn.com/joris_kalz/archive/2005/01/17/354379.aspx It is done by a bit of simple programming and Joris states at the end: "... this will keep Microsoft CRM in a supported state." and "...by using this technique Microsoft CRM will stay upgradeable, but what is not guaranteed, that your extensions will work in future version, if you do not take care."
