Hello all I am an IT professional considering a CRM application change for my
company. We are currently using GM CE 67. I wont bash the product but it just
has not worked out for us the way I had expected it to. I have had far too
many technical issues as well as a veritable mutiny by my end users who hate
it. Lastly our rapid deployment of mobile e-mail devices from our E2k server
is rendering the GM technology obsolete.
I have begun an evaluation of Sales Logix by Sage mainly because of the
promised integration with their MAS 200 ERP which we also run. It turns out
the integration is done by third party software. For me that negates the
perceived edge the Sage/Best product line offered. I am looking to find out
more information than the standard MS marketing fluff. I would appreciate
anyones candid information pertaining to integration with E2K and SQL both in
a clustered environment. Also does MS CRM have native integration to any ERP
packages? What are some of the issues administrators are having with the
product in their environments. If anyone chose SM CRM over Sales Logix what
swayed your decision process? Thanks to everyone in advance.

Hello,
We previously used GoldMine & Act prior to our adopting MS CRM. We
started with v1.2 and it was kinda rocky getting started. I feel that
finally with v3.0 the product is promising and it is where we need it to be.
The integration with MS Exchange is very good. No experience with the
product in a clustered environment.

Thank you very much for your response. Are you doing any integration with any
other applications? What are some of the things in GM that you used to do
that MS CRM cannot do for you now? What short comings does the application
have with respect to your organization? What critical improvements are you
awaiting if any? Thx again.
