Default 2k3 bandwidth control software?

Hello,

I was wondering how i can limit the users on my LAN for their bandwidth
usage? I`ll use static IP addresses (or a limited DHCP pool). Can 2k3
enterprise do limitations?

If not, could someone recommend a 3rd party software?

thanks

You would be better suited to control bandwidth requirements or better yet
optimize it on your local LAN with a Layer 2 hardware device such as Cisco
Switch. Cisco just recently came out with their SMB line of Catalyst 500
Series switches that are targeted for small businesses both for price and
convenience.

Thanks for the response, i did not consider a hardware solution. Due to
network layout i`m afraid that is not a viable solution. That is why i`m
looking for some software based solution.

I don't see anyway of doing this on the software side if all your devices
are plugged into a central hub or switch. I do not know your network layout
but its hard to give a solid recommendations without it.
