What do you mean "manually sorting"?
"Sort by name" is a little different to manual sorting in my language.
There is no automatic sort, if that is your question.

You can select by left mouse button and hold it down and " march"
one item at a time to a particular location ie if you had a item called
MICROSOFT and it is way down the list because of letter M, then
select and hold mouse button down and progressively move it up the
line of favourites and let go mouse button when its where you want it. I
t is a standard drag and drop function of all windows versions.
