Default Application Center SP2 install on WIndows 2003

Hi

I am installing ac 2000 sp2 on Windows 2003. I receive a popup that
states that the install is not supported on this OS.

But, I have read user groups say that SP2 should install fine on 2003.

Do i just ignore the warning and continue or am I supposed to do
anything..

Thanks
- laks.,

the actual warning messsage is as follows
Application Center 2000 has a known compatibility issue with this
version of Windows. For more information, refer to
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=40019.

and the link takes you no where!>..any ideas on if that message needs
to be ignored or needs to be taken into consideration??

I have recently installed AC2KwSP2 on Windows Server 2003 with SP1 and
ignored that message. The most trouble I had was getting the physical
configuration right. I did have help from Microsoft and although we did not
discuss that message, they knew exactly what versions I was installing. I
got it working ok once the physical configuration was right.

My configuration includes a hardware load balancer (F5). I have two NICs
per machine, one just for cluster communication and one for public and
maintenance access. If that is like your configuration, I'd be glad to give
more detail.
