I would like to deploy an upgrade/patch for my windows
application through the browser, this means that user
needs to access the link in the web server for the
download. May I know what is the best method of achieving
this?
I'm thinking of building the upgrade in the msi file.
Is this way workable? Or do I need to build my upgrade exe
in cab file and then inculde it in the msi?

If I need to include the cab file in msi, can I do this
in .Net deployment wizard?

Pls advise.

Keeping the cab files external will obviously improve the download
performance. In this case, Windows Installer needs to download only the
required components based on the selection.
