FYI, the bug in the nativeSQL method has been corrected and is scheduled to
be included in the next service pack of the driver. If for some reason you
need a version of this driver that includes this fix before the next
service pack is released, please contact Microsoft Product Support Services
for assistance. Because this is a bug in our driver, you will not be
charged for the incident.

Note that this is separate from the main issue discussed in this thread,
and that this fix does *not* change the behavior as far as the data type
names you can use in SQL statements with this driver. SQL_REAL will still
not be accepted, however, now if you call nativeSQL you will see the actual
statement that the driver is going to send to the server.
