Where have you looked? In Settings/System/Clock/Alarms tab is one place
where alarms are set.

I found some of these things when I first got my ppc, but I tried Pocket
Informant and find it a lot better and more configurable. You can download
it and try before you buy, and there's a downloadable manual you can look
through to see if you think it's worth trying.
