Default Can't Write data

I have a test MS SQL Server on a stand alone. I did a test
connection to the database I call input with an Access
project. The tables imported okay and I can read data.
Further I can change the tables (add or remove columns)
however I can not write new data to any table. I have
looked at add data/write permissions every where I can
think of. I use Windows Authentication to log on.
I tried, just to see what would happen, to connect to the
Northwind database with Access and I could write data with
Access there. I tried to duplicate everthing I could as to
how the northwind data base worked in the input database
with no success. What am I missing?

I didn't have a primary key in the table I was trying to
write to. When I added a primary key I could write to the
table. J. Clay told me that on another group. I have never
seen that in any book. We knew something was really
strange when the only other thing the permissions wise the
net admin could have given me was to crown me king. I had
SA and db owner.

are trying to INSERT

at least we know

does just sound like

side pane.

Manage Permissions

I was also going to suggest this if you had come back and said that my
orignal post was not the answer. When browsing the SQL Server tables you
very often see/saw (Haven't done it for a while) #DELETED# in the fields of
SQL Server if there was no PK.
