Default Cluster 2003 command line

Hi,

How can i create new "physical disk" ressource from command line.
I didn't found how Cluster.exe can do this.
Is it really possible ?

exemple :
H:

and for mounted drive ?

Exemple :
Disk22Partition1 ( for K:\folder1 )

Thx, if someone have any idea :

Try the following commands:

Cluster resource "Disk X:" /CREATE /GROUP:groupname /TYPE:"physical
disk"<enter>

Cluster resource "Disk X:" /priv signature=0xnnnnnnnn <enter> <-- where
nnnnnnnn is the hex value of the disk signature.

FYI, you might get a faster response if you ask this type of question in the
microsoft.public.windows.server.clustering group.

Regards,
John

Is there an easy way to get disk signature from disk number or mount letter
?

dumpcfg.exe list all drive parameters for each drive and not only signature
for one drive.
write a batch seems to be a bit complex.

try with winmgmts

dumpcfg return hex number for disk signature, Win32_DiskDrive return decimal
value

example

On Error Resume Next
strComputer = "."
Set objWMIService = GetObject("winmgmts:\\" & strComputer & "\root\cimv2")
Set colItems = objWMIService.ExecQuery("Select * from Win32_DiskDrive",,48)
For Each objItem in colItems
