Default Clustering Errors in Event viewer

I have installed windows 2000 advance server , service
pack 3 on both of them ,they both see the storage unit
and everything is fine until now .

In event viewer there is a service call MS DTC (Microsoft
Distributed Transaction Coordinator) which has started
with no errors ( I believe that this is install by
default). The problem is when I install the clustering
services , the MS DTC flags up a warning in the event
viewer stating, "MS DTC has determined that the cluster
service is installed but not running when MS DTC was
started. MS DTC will continue to startup but it will not
failover. Additionally, if the cluster service is
started then please shut down this instance of MS DTC as
it will become unusable. Error
Specifics: .\msdtc.cpp:986, CmdLine: C:\WINNT\System32
\msdtc.exe, Pid: 636". The only way I have found a way
around this is if I run the comclust.exe which fixes the
warning in event viewer , but also installs a MS DTC
resource in my cluster group and also creates a Com+
group.

However I'm not going to run Sql (which uses MS DTC)on
this cluster and would like know what are the
implications of disabling the MS DTC service or does
antone know of another work around.

Thank you
Brett
