collation

Hi,

I am trying to better understand how should choose the collation.
If I want to have all the characters from English and French which Character
Set or Code Page should I choose?
Is SQL_Latin1_General_CP1 or SQL_Latin1_General_CP850(Multilingual)?

Thanks for any help that you can give me.

guidelines on how to choose which collation will work best for you.
