Default Commerce Server 2002 Datawarehousing

Hello folks,
1) I keep on receiving this error "The database 'MSCS_Admin' may not be
accessible or ****ysis and Data Warehouse componests may not be installed"
whenever I try to access the ****ysis from the bizdesk. I have built a site
on top the retail2002 and I started to get this error whenever I try to go to
the ****ysis. However, I configured the DTS to Import from campaign,
transaction, web server log, profile and configuration sync all in the site
level and all of them point to report preparation. Please advise me to how I
can solve this error.
2) My webserver box sitting in a different box than the sql server and
whenever I try to drag and drop the webserver log import in the DTS package
it gives me an error that says " invalid Connection Information for site
retail2002"
Please help and I highly appreciate any assistance

What do you have for connection strings? Are you using localhost in any of
them rather than the machine name?

Are you trying to use integrated security? have you given the IUSR_ account
permission to the database?

Try it with SQL authentication ... Or test the connection with the IUSR
connection from the web server.

If the IUSR_ account isn't a domain account setting up permission in the SQL
database may appear to work but it won't actually let the user login.

Can you try to log into SQL with that IUSR_ account and see what happens?
You can right click the query ****yzer and do a run as...

did you test a SQL account? Have you tried giving system administrator
permissions?

Robert,
we used windows authentication and sql authentication... IUSR_account and
still gives us an error... can not intialize connection. Also I tried using
the Datawarehouse configurator just for the sake to configure a new database
and it gives me the same error whenever i try to run. If i go to tasks from
the commerce manager and it shows no site has been selected as a resource.

Please Help. Thanks

You do have a Datawarehouse resource underneath your site which points to
the global data warehouse resource -- right?
