A friend who uses OL always requests read confirmation with her e-mails.
This invariably results in a message hung up in my outbox. I always get an
error message that says her IP doesn't allow mail relays. Isn't there some
place where I can decline the confirmation? This is more a PITA than it is
critical, but I would like to prevent the outbox message that won't go away
until I delete it. Actually, I have 2 friends that do this. Will that
feature work on a POP3 server?

Have you checked your advanced options under options? You
can turn off the automatic processing of receipts, ie
stopping your account from sending off confirmations.
Also check in the tracking options screen for more
settings.
