Default "CSS Level 1" Update

How can I get font/link effects to display on my
computer? Such as a "dropshadow" effect for text and/or
fonts on websites? It doesn't display on my computer and
I have the latest version of Internet Explorer. It used
to display, but I recently had to install Windows 98 (SE)
again due to some corrupted files. Can someone please
inform me on what to download so I can visualize these
effects on my computer and so that I can view them when I
want to use them on my own websites? Thanks!

On what pages were you viewing these? Are you sure the page didn't change
something in the way it displays? If you give us specific URLs, we can see
how the page looks on other people's browsers.

CSS Level 1, btw, is old hat. Level 2 is well established already.
