Default Database should not have SQL Server Authentication enabled

We have a database that requires both types of authentication enabled.
I've set the Mom rule to false, as detailed in the product knowledge
tab. I've restarted the mom service on the database server, rebooted
both the mom server, and database server, yet this alert keeps popping
up. How do I get rid of it?

Thanks,
Stephen

There may be multiple rules that trigger this. Try this:

Go to the admin console, find the rule.

Go to advanced criteria and put in this condition:

Agent does not equal SERVERNAME

Push the changes.

Go to the SQL server, stop mom.

Open windows explorer (after mom service stops).

Open Do***ents and Settings, all users, application data, microsoft,
microsoft operations manager\config group name:

C:\Do***ents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft
Operations Manager\%Config group name%

Select all and delete.

Then go to: C:\Winnt\temp\microsoft operations manager

select all and delete.

Start mom. Monitor for Agent recieved new rules and configuration event in
the app log.

This should end your false alerts.

Stephen -

You say you restarted the MOM Service on the SQL Server, but have you
committed the configuration change and restarted the MOM Service on the MOM
Server? This will let the SQL Server's MOM agent know to pick up the rule
change.
