Does anyone know if it is possible within a Win2K server to resolve to
different DNS servers depending on the domain that is being resolved?
ie. Resolve to machine DNS1 if it is for domain
internal.example.com,internal2.example.com else resolve to machine
DNS2.
Thanks.

Different DNS servers for internal and external
I believe that what you want to do is to create a stub zone. Unfortunately,
this isn't available in Windows 2000 Server, but is a new feature in Windows
Server 2003.

Sorry, I think I misread what you wanted to do.
You should be able to do what you want by using a forwarder on DNS1 to DNS2.
