Default disabling a group policy object

I have set a GPO to an OU which affects member servers. The settings are
only computer related and not user. Is there anyway to cancel the GPO and go
back to not having a gpo. I.e can I just disable it?

For instance my gpo concerens setting up a new SNMP community name, if I
want to cancel this will it go back to the original name?

Gram,

If it is a built-in policy you found under "Administrative Templates", you
can go with either deleting the GPO or move the machine into a different OU.
The machine will revert to the "default" setting just as if there was no GP
configured.

Cheers,
Florian
