dropped connection

I am having an issue in one of my networks. I think
it could be bandwith on the incomming cable line. Its a
small network of 16 ports and about 10 active clients at
all times. I keep getting drop connections just about
everyday. I have all updated firmware on all my hardware,
routers, hubs, etc. Everytime I lose a connection, I have
to hard reset my router, and then renew the address. Just
renewing the address doesn't reconnect to DHCP. If you
could give me a few possibilites on how to resolve this
issue that would be great, or transfer me to someone who
may be able to assist.
