Hi -
We have a MOM 2005 Server and a Exchange 2003 Server with MOM Agents.
I am having problems with my exchange reports, some of them are infact
working and showing relevant data. But reports like "Exchange server
configuration" , "Exchange mailboxes", "exch database sizes" "exchange IMAP4
usage"
etc are showing the following:
"there is no data available for this report. this can occur when there is no
releant data available for collection ........"

- Message Tracking is enabled
- The needed Rules are enabled
- I have no mapi logon failures -> MAPI Logon is always successfull
- I ran the DTS Task manually at 10:00 am, but the problem persists

can you help me find a solution

Check the MOM views to verify the scripts that collect this information are
not looping or failing.

There is also a kb article and information in the E2K3 MP Config guide about
report dependancies. Might want to take a loot at that and verify you have
done all the proper things.

Hi,

I had same results with this MP. The mail reason is that scripts on
managed Exchange servers was run in context Action Account and it's
wrong. Now scrpts are running in context Local System account and all
of the data are in database.

scripts?

The Agent Action account on Exchange servers must be configured to run as
Local System. You can verify this by following these steps:
1.. Open the MOM Admin Console
2.. Navigate to Administration > Computers > Agent-managed Computers.
3.. Right-click on the server in question and select Update Agent
Settings...
4.. In the dialog that appears, under "Which account do you want to use
for the Agent Action Account?" select Local System.
