I recently upgraded to W2K from '98. I am getting the
above error when trying to execute a number of icons.
From the Knowledge Base it looks as if Internet Explorer 6
is the problem. I had installed it on '98 but did not
remove it before upgrading. The KB instructs to remove
Internet Explorer 6 but it does not appear on the
Add/Remove Program list.

How can I overcome this problem. I have thought of
upgrading to IE 6 but am afraid this may exacerbate the
problem.

Any suggestions are welcome.
