I have a user with Outlook 2002 where I need to be able to
add contacts where the email addresses are users within the MS Exchange organization but I want the addresses resolved as SMTP. Basically, if you are offline in Outlook and add a contact with the email address ending in the domain of your exchange server organization, the system keeps the contact as SMTP, however, if you do the same thing online, the system will "resolve" the address as an MS active directory user and set it to type EX in your global address list, contacts folder etc. This causes problems for us because we need to send as SMTP when offline outside of the organization. Any way to force new email addresses in contacts as SMTP? Thanks Michael Casale mike@infostreamsolutions.com |
