Default Free Disk Space Monitoring

Hi Friends!
I have 10 SQL Servers around the enterprise with the mom 2005 agent running.
I want to check the free disk space on the drive and the size of the
databases.
The idea is to create a trigger that checks the free space % on the drive
and when it is > 80%, send an email with the % free and the Databases space.

can anyone help me with this?

Thanks all

Default Free Disk Space Monitoring

Hi,

The SQL DB space is calculated by a script in the SQL MP. You will need to
configured permissions on the SQL servers for this to fuction properly
though. The guide is located here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=653d9fb9-b1c6-4702-a152-99852dcb2772&DisplayLang=en

As for server disk space, download and install the Microsoft Windows Base OS
MP as this contains all the rules to monitor disk space. Again, you will need
to configure the Managament Pack to suit your organisation. The guide can be
found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=f8b3a868-f72c-4998-a7ff-d06fe7d31d12&DisplayLang=en

Hope this helps,

Best Regards,

Andy.
