This could be a name resolution issue. Do you have WINS configured? Can you
ping AD by name and IP Address? Start you go to the Start menu and Run
\\ad\ftp?

FTP using DFS as home
Yes, I can get to it by UNC: \\ad\ftp as well as ping AD, but when I put
that as the Home directory, it gives me the error.
