Getting rid of Adult tool bar/ links on home page

1) How do I get rid of an Adult tool bar on my home page?
2) How do I get rid of an Adult link shortcut icon that
keeps reapparing on my desktop? I've deleted the shortcut
and shreaded the recycle bin numerous times.
