I keep putting in a 256MB RAM stick, and the Compaq computer loads it up, but then tells me there's an error or something. I know I put it in right, but I don't understand why it keeps telling me it won't work. Does anyone ahve any ideas? It will load it up and keep rebooting over and over....it will reboot right after it tries a disk check, and then start over and tell me there's a problem. I am not very good at this kind of thing...so any help would be great, please e-mail me with suggestions.
